You've made my backup procedure easy and very straight forward. I have used many backup utilities from [competitor] to manually zipping files. I think the reason BackupAssist is so good is because it concentrates on giving the system administrator the tools they need to do their job. It provides a service to me the fallible forgetful human rather than me the technical IT manager.
This has got to be the easiest backup solution I've ever seen! Setup takes 5 minutes! It walks you through each step and doesn't have any "buried" features that you have to dig for.
This software is great! I was literally up and running in under 5 minutes! With our old software, I constantly had to check and make sure that it was working. If I forgot to change tapes, it would just sit there, trying to complete the backup job until I would tell it to stop. (Very Annoying!) The tapes were also in a proprietary format that only that software could read. BackupAssist is easier to use, has more features, and costs a fraction of what our previous solution did. This purchase was a no-brainer!
